Overview
Bode Aviation’s flight school offers initial Private Pilot through advanced commercial training at competitive prices. With over 350 days of sunshine per year, Albuquerque is the perfect place to learn to fly or to finish up your rating. We offer several training programs and specialty courses, and will customize your instruction to suit your needs.
Bode is a Part 141 Flight School, ensuring your training meets the highest quality and standards. Being Part 141 certified, we offer training for both domestic and foreign student pilots. Additionally, some student pilots may qualify for financial aid through the GI Bill and veterans benefits.
Our primary training aircraft are Cessna 172s. We also have a Cessna 150, and a Cessna 182rg is available for a complex, high performance rating. We train you as an individual and as such there are no entrance requirements.
And to cover your written Knowledge Test needs, Bode Aviation hosts a LaserGrade Testing facility for all of your FAA written exams.
Take an Introductory Flight
Under the supervision of one of our skilled flight instructors, take a flight in one of our Cessna 172 training aircraft where you are at the controls!
During your 45 minute flight around the scenic Albuquerque area, your instructor will show you the basics of what it means to pilot an aircraft. During most of your flight (approximately 30 minutes), you will be flying the aircraft with your instructor sitting right there beside you.
Your introductory flight is a one on one experience, and can be tailored and modified to meet your needs. Your introductory flight time also counts towards your Private Pilot certificate should you catch the bug and continue with flight training.
