Instrument
& Advanced Certificate Ground School Syllabus
Work Required This course
will give you a solid foundation for your instrument
rating. We treat every student as a prospective
professional pilot. You can fly like a pro with any
certificate level. If you do
the homework you can expect to pass the FAA computer exam
with a high score. Most of our students score higher than
90%. Most
students need to spend 4 to 6 hours a week on the
homework in order to keep up with the class. Much of the
material is quite different from what you have been
exposed to in your daily life, so take the time to think
about it, understand it and assimilate it. Don't put off
doing the homework. Attendance
at each class is almost a must if you want to keep up and
take the FAA exam at the end. It is extremely difficult
to keep up if you miss more than an occasional class. In
these cases, you can come to the office and review the
videos and an instructor will try and be available to
help answer questions from the homework. Some people have
taken the course more than once. The cost to repeat is
$75, providing your Jeppesen kit is up to date. Bode
Aviation follows the Jeppeson Syllabus. |
